Are all westerns , fools?

Western greed and inventions for great war crimes are the reason for todays environmental degradation and greedy economic world. All termed it as Advancement of Human Life , actually they started ruining the earth and climate into an irreversible state. But I had this very surprising question : How does these so called intellectuals  believed foolish Christian bluffs as true.
Still strange to me.
Did Newton,Einstein or Hawking really followed Christian religion.
