ఒక్కసారి ఈదటం నేర్చుకుంటే మరిచిపోలేరు కదా . 2013 AP second year intermediate pass percentage is better than First year Students

For the year 2013,Andhra pradesh

First year  is  54.6 %

Second year is 65.36%

If we assume , the Failures from 1st year can not pass second year that easy.

i.e. Probability of passing second year albeit failed in First year is negligible.

With this propaganda :) ,  One may calculate that the eligible candidates(who did not drop from First year) for Second year Exam are of successful category. 

  Mathematically,

 IF P(A) ,P(B) are  probabilities of a First or Second Year student who pass the examination.

Then the Event B is dependent on Event A.

This results in , P(B)=P(AB)/P(A) ...( =P(B/A))  

P(AB) and P(A) are so close and P(B) will be much better than P(A) as the First year  successful students have pretty higy chances  to get pass in Second year Exams.

Idea: Conditional Probability
